CNN's anchor, Anderson Cooper, is having the best moment of his life. He has become a father to a newly born son named Wyatt. Cooper announced the good news via television on April 30, 2020. He said: "On Monday, I became a father. I've never actually said that before, out loud, and it still kind of astonishes me. I am a dad. I have a son. And I want you to meet him."

Baby Wyatt was born on April 27, 2020, on Monday via surrogacy. Anderson made the public announcement Thursday night on his social media and CNN Town-Hall segment.

Anderson Cooper Quietly reunited with ex Benjamin Maisani!

According to US Weekly, Cooper has got back together with his ex-boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani before his son's birth. The source writes: 

“Anderson has reconciled with Ben. They very quietly got back together and are planning ahead. Ben is selling one of his clubs and cutting back on how much he does at night so he can spend more time at home with Anderson and the baby.”

One of the most prominent gay journalists, Anderson broke up with Benjamin in March 2018. They began dating in 2009 but kept their relationship low-profile for several years. Benjamin is a businessman who owns several night clubs. As of now, Cooper is raising the child as a single father, but Benjamin might join him soon.

The journalist wrote on his Instagram: "As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son's birth."

He further added: "I do wish my mom and dad and my brother, Carter, were alive to meet Wyatt, but I like to believe they can see him. I imagine them all together, arms around each other, smiling and laughing, happy to know that their love is alive in me and in Wyatt, and that our family continues."

Cooper lost his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, in June 2019. She died from stomach cancer at the age of 95. Further, little Wyatt is named after his grandfather. Cooper lost his father when he was 10. Just for your information, some of the few individuals who welcomed their child in early 2020 are Hunter Biden, Vail Bloom, etc. among others.
