Duane's Romantic Candlelit Proposal
In an exclusive interview, Francie revealed how Duane got down on one knee and asked her to marry in a romantic candlelit proposal. The couple has moved in together and is living at Dog's house in this quarantine period.
When asked about the proposal, Francie described:
"I wasn't expecting it at all. I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit."
She added: "So when I came in I was like, 'Wow, this is awesome.' Then he said, 'Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you'."So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, 'I know that God brought you into my life and I don't want to spend one moment of it without you'."
Frane's tears rolled down her eyes when Duane opened the ring box. She recalled: "He got down and asked 'Will you marry me and spend the rest of our lives together?'
And obviously, she said yes, and the two are now an engaged couple. They first met when Duane left a message for Frane's late husband, Bob. Duane wanted some help with his home yard but was unaware that Bob had died. Chapman who had also lost his wife, Beth, soon develop a bond with Frane.
Duane Wants the Biggest Wedding Ever!
The newly engaged couple are planning to wait until the lock-down ends. They want to share the biggest moment with their family, including Duane's 12 children, Francie's two sons, and their grandkids.
Duane revealed that his fans has asked him to let come to his wedding. However, he has no objection. He said:
"I would love to have the biggest wedding there's ever been. I'm sorry but that's just me. I hope I can talk Francie into it and open it to my fans, the 'Dog Pound,' to everybody. It would be one hell of a party and it's just what people need right now."
Many people, including their family members and fans, have been supportive of the couple. Duane faced some criticism after he began dating Francie months after Beth's death. His daughter Lyssa has regularly defended him.
