Lindsey Graham, the U.S senior senator from South Carolina, has defended the former U.S vice president, Joe Biden, against his sexual allegations. Graham talked to Fox News commentator Sean Hannity on Friday night on May 1, 2020. He went on to say that Biden should release the senate personnel records to shed light on the accusation against him.
The 77-year-old, Joe Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2020 presidential election. In March 2020, a former senate staff, Tara Reade accused Biden had sexually assaulted her in a Capitol Hill office building around spring 1993. Previously in April 2019, she accused him of sexual misconduct.

Reade alleged that Biden, on multiple occasions, used to touch her inappropriately. A few news agencies such as Associated Press and The Washington Post interviewed Reade in 2019 but didn't publish the article.
After Reade made her stories public, several reporters contacted her colleagues and associates. The stories she told to different news agencies are found to be contradicted.
Now, talking about any legal actions, in January 2020, Reade asked for legal and public relations support from Time's Up Legal Defense Fund. However, as per Reade, none of the attorneys agreed to represent her.
Lindsey Graham on Joe Biden's allegations
Graham appeared on Fox Network political talk program Hannity on May 1, 2020. When asked about his former senate's colleague, Graham said: “The Joe Biden I know, I’ve never seen anything [or] believed that he would do anything like this until you convince me otherwise."
Graham and Biden worked together for five years in the senate office before Biden was elected as vice president.
Biden has self-described himself as a "tactile politician." He is married to wife Jill Biden since 1977 and is the father of four kids named Beau, Hunter, Naomi, and Ashley. Biden addressed Reade's allegations for the first time after months she went public with her claims. In a statement, Biden said:
"They aren’t true. This never happened. While the details of these allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault are complicated, two things are not complicated. One is that women deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and when they step forward they should be heard, not silenced. The second is that their stories should be subject to appropriate inquiry and scrutiny."
Further, Biden appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe and said: "No, it is not true. I'm saying unequivocally it never, never happened, and it didn't. It never happened." Additionally, Biden's campaign has frequently denied the allegations.
